Sony Cybershot W55 Digital Camera

Size:

The Sony Cybershot W55 is pocket sized with a brushed metal style frame.

Zoom, Imaging, performance:

The Sony Cybershot W55 features a much talked about Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom and a generous 56Mb of storage. The 7.2 Megapixel imaging and high sensitivity lense make up the main features of this camera, with reputed strong performance in low light situations.

Color, detail:

We tested the camera's ability to accurately represent various colors by taking pictures both inside and outside. For inside, we took pictures of a toy box and some crayons. For outside, we took pictures of a pile of fall leaves, and a playhouse. The inside pictures came out vibrant and true, with absolutely stunning reds and greens in particular. The outside pictures showed great detail, much thanks to the 7.2 megapixel imaging capability. We were able to see remarkable detail in the grey fence behind the fading brown club house. The leaves came out remarkably bright with good contrast.

Reputation, complaints, rating:

This model has a reputation for delivering crisp, clear photos of remarkable resolution and detail. We searched many review sites and forums, and were unable to find any complaints for this camera. The rating on Camera Jury is four stars, and according to Amazon and a recent Sony press release, it has been a best seller for various demographics.

Summary:

The Sony Cybershot W55 is a very feature rich camera with excellent indoor and outdoor capabilities alike. The Sony Cybershot W55 review at Camera Jury features a four star rating and technical specs with more relevant information for anyone interested in this excellent camera.

Scarface Movie Review

"Scarface" introduced the world to one of cinema's most iconic characters, Tony Montana, the audacious Cuban cocaine mobster who feared nothing and had some of the most memorable lines in movies. "Why don't you shove you're head up your a**, see if it fit..." he quips just before another mobster is about to chop him in half with a chainsaw. Scarface is not a subtle movie; it's big, bold, and glorious with some memorable sequences, characters and direction. Brian DePalma has given us quite a number of quality films throughout his career and Scarface has to rank as one of his best. This isn't just another mobster film; it's a mobster film where it's lead character will have you completely engrossed from start to finish.

The movie charts the life of Tony Montana from when he stepped off the refugee boat from Cuba in Miami, through to his rise working for other mobsters before taking it upon himself to take over the whole enterprise. In this sense there really isn't anything dissimiliar to other mob films but the focus on the Cuban and Latin influences in Miami, the rise and thriving cocaine trade, and the multiple dimensions to Montana himself make this film very unique and engrossing. Montana is by and large two-dimensional; he's big and uncompromising. It's his way or the highway. But at the same time, he has a lot of dimension which is especially fleshed out with his relationships to his fellow refugee friend Manny (Steven Bauer) and his sister Gina (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). In the former we get some rather good buddy sequences, and in the latter we see an overprotective brother smothering his baby sister's attempts to live a normal life.

Al Pacino is never better in this film, and while it could be could an over-the-top performance, he does it in just exactly the right way to portray a character that you'll actually enjoy watching. Michelle Pfieffer is also good as his love interest, as is Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Gina, Montana's sister. Steven Bauer is great as his sidekick Manny who accompanies Montana on his rise to the top only to come undone when he takes an interest in Gina. There are also great performances from Robert Loggia and F. Murray Abraham as underworld kingpins who Montana who eventually dispatches in his rise to the top.

Perhaps the best sequence in the film is the ending; confronted by all his enemies, Montana decides to go out all guns blazing. "So you want to play rough, okay! I play rough!" And then proceeds to come out with a big gun and starts to blowing away everyone. "Say hello to my new friend!" BANG!

The craft aspects of the film are fabulous; the cinematography is glorious, with a number of sweeping crane shots and other devices which really take advantage of the widescreen format and give the film a more epic scope which is best scene towards the end of the film when Montana starts to live the high life at the top in mansions etc. Perhaps the only annoying thing, and this is just for me personally, is the overbearing music score. Scarface is a blunt, in your face, kind of film and the music reflects that, but somehow for me it interfered with the enjoyment of the film.

"To get the woman, first you need the money. When you get the money, you get the power. When you get the power, you get the woman." Scarface is a classic, one that you'll greatly enjoy.

There Is A Fossil Watch For Any Occasion

Perhaps the most timeless of fashion accessories – pun intended – is the wristwatch. Aside from their obvious role as a timepiece that has kept us on schedule throughout the decades, the watch plays an equal role when it makes a statement of style and success. The right watch can convey a message about you just as much as your clothes, and while everyone knows the kind of message sent by a Rolex or Cartier watch, it is no secret that their exorbitant price tag is part of that equation. However, with a Fossil watch you can embrace a sense of style without spending hundreds or even thousands, and you can even do it with your own personal flair.

Started in 1984, the Fossil watch company has staked their place on the wristwatch landscape by providing a selection of watches that can appeal to a wide range of tastes and nearly any budget. Offering casual and dress watches that typically cost between $50 and $150 dollars, a Fossil watch is not a cheap watch; it is an affordable, high quality timepiece.

Boasting a selection of watches that rivals any company, with looks to match, Fossil watches could get by on their looks, quality, and price alone. However, Fossil has taken watches to a new, innovative, and original level by offering several lines of watches that are a product of outside-the-box thinking.

The Fossil watch website is a great place to begin looking for that special watch that fits your wrist and personality. At the Watch Bar, you can build your own watch be selecting from a wide variety of styles, sizes, and wristbands. You can literally mix and match, adding what you like until you get exactly what you what. Individual components are priced separately, so you can not only build a style you like, but you can do it for a price that is equally agreeable.

Fossil's personalized options do not begin or end with the Watch Bar, or your ability to create a watch that suits your tastes. For the sports fan there are watches sporting the logos of your favorite NCAA and NFL teams. Fossil also has a large line of collectible watches featuring some of the most popular characters in pop culture. From Batman to Elvis, Snoopy to Star Wars; Fossil has a wide range of collectible watches for the fan of nearly anything.

For those with tastes that lean toward contemporary, designer looks, there is a Fossil watch for them too. Fossil has teamed with people like Frank Gehry, Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, and Marc Jacobs, to make designer watches at affordable price points. Even the technophile can find a Fossil that will scratch the technological itch. The Fossil wrist PDA and its LCD touch-screen allow you to access your calendar, personal planner, and much more.

Affordable quality, stylish looks, and a price that anyone can afford; it is no wonder that there is a Fossil watch for nearly any budget, taste, or occasion.

Ben 10 on the Cartoon Network

Getting sick of the same old TV shows? Well even though Ben 10 recently went of the air, this is the show for you! Ben 10 is a show about a family, where the brother Ben, of course, stumbles upon an alien pod in the woods while on vacation! Found inside is a watch like device witch happens to be called the, "Omnitrix". The Omnitrix attaches to Ben's wrist and the gives him the power to transform into an alien, but only for 10 minutes so that his DNA doesn't permanently become damaged! From his new gained powers, Ben realized that now has the responsibility to use his powers to do good. Thru his journeys with his family, a sister Gwen, and grandfather Max, they do battle with many aliens, looking too take the Omnitrix from them.

The one warlord alien Vilgax, is one of Bens main nemesis's! Vilgax tried to conquer the galaxy by stealing the Omnitrix, by sending his alien drones, and even he himself tried too take it! But Ben and his family succeeded in defeating Vilgax! Ben even had to fight Kevin! Someone who could absorb some of bens powers from being around the Omnitrix. Kevin even eventually banded together with an alien named "Ghostfreak" who escaped the Omnitrix and tried too possess Ben! But luckily Ghostfreak and Kevin where eventually defeated! Toward the end of the fourth season of Ben 10, Ben even had to defeat a resurrected Ghostfreak and Vilgax! Ben even had to stop someone named Doctor Vicktor from cloaking the world with his corrodium beam project!

And Ben did all of this only with the help of his family and the power of the Omnitrix! A device originally designed to show the many races of the universe about one another, made by Azmuth. But the Omnitrix was eventually used for war because of its inherited power. The Omnitrix, binds too your skin, and is very hard to get off! Though very mechanical looking, it is organic in the sense of how it fits the user, growing and changing. It binds the users DNA with the DNA of the 10 aliens inside! Ben only has limited use of the Omnitrix, because of his inexperience, but the aliens that are after it have a better understanding of it, and can use it to its optimum function. Changing from one alien to another just by thinking it!

So as you can see the Cartoon Network show, Ben 10 is a very appealing show too a wide variety of people.

You may even want too check out the two Ben 10 movies that where released. The first, "Ben 10: Secret of the Omnitrix", and the second, "Ben 10: Race Against Time". Both moves dive deeper into the origins of the Omnitrix and the life of Ben and his family after the original 4 season series.
