Sony Cybershot W55 Digital Camera

Size:

The Sony Cybershot W55 is pocket sized with a brushed metal style frame.

Zoom, Imaging, performance:

The Sony Cybershot W55 features a much talked about Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom and a generous 56Mb of storage. The 7.2 Megapixel imaging and high sensitivity lense make up the main features of this camera, with reputed strong performance in low light situations.

Color, detail:

We tested the camera's ability to accurately represent various colors by taking pictures both inside and outside. For inside, we took pictures of a toy box and some crayons. For outside, we took pictures of a pile of fall leaves, and a playhouse. The inside pictures came out vibrant and true, with absolutely stunning reds and greens in particular. The outside pictures showed great detail, much thanks to the 7.2 megapixel imaging capability. We were able to see remarkable detail in the grey fence behind the fading brown club house. The leaves came out remarkably bright with good contrast.

Reputation, complaints, rating:

This model has a reputation for delivering crisp, clear photos of remarkable resolution and detail. We searched many review sites and forums, and were unable to find any complaints for this camera. The rating on Camera Jury is four stars, and according to Amazon and a recent Sony press release, it has been a best seller for various demographics.

Summary:

The Sony Cybershot W55 is a very feature rich camera with excellent indoor and outdoor capabilities alike. The Sony Cybershot W55 review at Camera Jury features a four star rating and technical specs with more relevant information for anyone interested in this excellent camera.

Scarface Movie Review

"Scarface" introduced the world to one of cinema's most iconic characters, Tony Montana, the audacious Cuban cocaine mobster who feared nothing and had some of the most memorable lines in movies. "Why don't you shove you're head up your a**, see if it fit..." he quips just before another mobster is about to chop him in half with a chainsaw. Scarface is not a subtle movie; it's big, bold, and glorious with some memorable sequences, characters and direction. Brian DePalma has given us quite a number of quality films throughout his career and Scarface has to rank as one of his best. This isn't just another mobster film; it's a mobster film where it's lead character will have you completely engrossed from start to finish.

The movie charts the life of Tony Montana from when he stepped off the refugee boat from Cuba in Miami, through to his rise working for other mobsters before taking it upon himself to take over the whole enterprise. In this sense there really isn't anything dissimiliar to other mob films but the focus on the Cuban and Latin influences in Miami, the rise and thriving cocaine trade, and the multiple dimensions to Montana himself make this film very unique and engrossing. Montana is by and large two-dimensional; he's big and uncompromising. It's his way or the highway. But at the same time, he has a lot of dimension which is especially fleshed out with his relationships to his fellow refugee friend Manny (Steven Bauer) and his sister Gina (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio). In the former we get some rather good buddy sequences, and in the latter we see an overprotective brother smothering his baby sister's attempts to live a normal life.

Al Pacino is never better in this film, and while it could be could an over-the-top performance, he does it in just exactly the right way to portray a character that you'll actually enjoy watching. Michelle Pfieffer is also good as his love interest, as is Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio as Gina, Montana's sister. Steven Bauer is great as his sidekick Manny who accompanies Montana on his rise to the top only to come undone when he takes an interest in Gina. There are also great performances from Robert Loggia and F. Murray Abraham as underworld kingpins who Montana who eventually dispatches in his rise to the top.

Perhaps the best sequence in the film is the ending; confronted by all his enemies, Montana decides to go out all guns blazing. "So you want to play rough, okay! I play rough!" And then proceeds to come out with a big gun and starts to blowing away everyone. "Say hello to my new friend!" BANG!

The craft aspects of the film are fabulous; the cinematography is glorious, with a number of sweeping crane shots and other devices which really take advantage of the widescreen format and give the film a more epic scope which is best scene towards the end of the film when Montana starts to live the high life at the top in mansions etc. Perhaps the only annoying thing, and this is just for me personally, is the overbearing music score. Scarface is a blunt, in your face, kind of film and the music reflects that, but somehow for me it interfered with the enjoyment of the film.

"To get the woman, first you need the money. When you get the money, you get the power. When you get the power, you get the woman." Scarface is a classic, one that you'll greatly enjoy.

There Is A Fossil Watch For Any Occasion

Perhaps the most timeless of fashion accessories – pun intended – is the wristwatch. Aside from their obvious role as a timepiece that has kept us on schedule throughout the decades, the watch plays an equal role when it makes a statement of style and success. The right watch can convey a message about you just as much as your clothes, and while everyone knows the kind of message sent by a Rolex or Cartier watch, it is no secret that their exorbitant price tag is part of that equation. However, with a Fossil watch you can embrace a sense of style without spending hundreds or even thousands, and you can even do it with your own personal flair.

Started in 1984, the Fossil watch company has staked their place on the wristwatch landscape by providing a selection of watches that can appeal to a wide range of tastes and nearly any budget. Offering casual and dress watches that typically cost between $50 and $150 dollars, a Fossil watch is not a cheap watch; it is an affordable, high quality timepiece.

Boasting a selection of watches that rivals any company, with looks to match, Fossil watches could get by on their looks, quality, and price alone. However, Fossil has taken watches to a new, innovative, and original level by offering several lines of watches that are a product of outside-the-box thinking.

The Fossil watch website is a great place to begin looking for that special watch that fits your wrist and personality. At the Watch Bar, you can build your own watch be selecting from a wide variety of styles, sizes, and wristbands. You can literally mix and match, adding what you like until you get exactly what you what. Individual components are priced separately, so you can not only build a style you like, but you can do it for a price that is equally agreeable.

Fossil's personalized options do not begin or end with the Watch Bar, or your ability to create a watch that suits your tastes. For the sports fan there are watches sporting the logos of your favorite NCAA and NFL teams. Fossil also has a large line of collectible watches featuring some of the most popular characters in pop culture. From Batman to Elvis, Snoopy to Star Wars; Fossil has a wide range of collectible watches for the fan of nearly anything.

For those with tastes that lean toward contemporary, designer looks, there is a Fossil watch for them too. Fossil has teamed with people like Frank Gehry, Philippe Starck, Michael Kors, and Marc Jacobs, to make designer watches at affordable price points. Even the technophile can find a Fossil that will scratch the technological itch. The Fossil wrist PDA and its LCD touch-screen allow you to access your calendar, personal planner, and much more.

Affordable quality, stylish looks, and a price that anyone can afford; it is no wonder that there is a Fossil watch for nearly any budget, taste, or occasion.

Ben 10 on the Cartoon Network

Getting sick of the same old TV shows? Well even though Ben 10 recently went of the air, this is the show for you! Ben 10 is a show about a family, where the brother Ben, of course, stumbles upon an alien pod in the woods while on vacation! Found inside is a watch like device witch happens to be called the, "Omnitrix". The Omnitrix attaches to Ben's wrist and the gives him the power to transform into an alien, but only for 10 minutes so that his DNA doesn't permanently become damaged! From his new gained powers, Ben realized that now has the responsibility to use his powers to do good. Thru his journeys with his family, a sister Gwen, and grandfather Max, they do battle with many aliens, looking too take the Omnitrix from them.

The one warlord alien Vilgax, is one of Bens main nemesis's! Vilgax tried to conquer the galaxy by stealing the Omnitrix, by sending his alien drones, and even he himself tried too take it! But Ben and his family succeeded in defeating Vilgax! Ben even had to fight Kevin! Someone who could absorb some of bens powers from being around the Omnitrix. Kevin even eventually banded together with an alien named "Ghostfreak" who escaped the Omnitrix and tried too possess Ben! But luckily Ghostfreak and Kevin where eventually defeated! Toward the end of the fourth season of Ben 10, Ben even had to defeat a resurrected Ghostfreak and Vilgax! Ben even had to stop someone named Doctor Vicktor from cloaking the world with his corrodium beam project!

And Ben did all of this only with the help of his family and the power of the Omnitrix! A device originally designed to show the many races of the universe about one another, made by Azmuth. But the Omnitrix was eventually used for war because of its inherited power. The Omnitrix, binds too your skin, and is very hard to get off! Though very mechanical looking, it is organic in the sense of how it fits the user, growing and changing. It binds the users DNA with the DNA of the 10 aliens inside! Ben only has limited use of the Omnitrix, because of his inexperience, but the aliens that are after it have a better understanding of it, and can use it to its optimum function. Changing from one alien to another just by thinking it!

Fisher Price Elmo Live - Health Hazard For Your Baby?

Are you considering buying Fisher Price's new Elmo Live doll as a Christmas present this year, for your own child of maybe for somebody else's child? If so, there are a few things you need to think about. Buy a gift for a young boy or a baby is fun, but when purchasing a toy there are always certain considerations as to the safety and production quality of said product. Many toys have been recalled in the past due to them having been discovered to be hazardous to your child's health; Elmo Live is brought to us by Hasbro, a company which is known for the high quality of its products, but nevertheless we must ask the tough questions for the sake of our kids.

The first and most clear step in determining whether a toy you're about to buy is going to be safe for your toddler is, does it have any small parts that can be inserted into the mouth and choked on? Young children and especially babies absolutely love to put things in their mouth and try to suck on them or bite them. A piece that is too small could easily slip down and hurt them. Luckily, Elmo Live comes through on this regard, since the toy is one big piece and even though it moves, no parts of it actually come off, so it doesn't represent this type of hazard.

Secondly, you need to determine whether there are any sketchy materials, such as lead or mercury, used in the fabrication of the product. Today we take the general awareness about lead poisoning and mercury poisoning to be for granted, we don't really realize how insidious and undetected this type of thing can be. Very recently several Chinese toy products have been identified as carrying trace amounts of lead which can be extremely dangerous to young kids. Luckily, Elmo Live was not among these toys, and as far as we know today, it does not contain any other dangerous materials whatsoever.

Finally, and this point of toy safety is a new one that has been created with the advent of the "animatronic dolls" in recent years, does the toy move in any way that can harm the boy or baby? Since the toy moves by itself, there is a very real chance that moving arms and legs and mouth can suddenly and unexpectedly pinch or tear the skin of the child. As regards to Elmo Live, none of the moving parts appear to move in such a way, but just to be safe, make sure your child doesn't try to pick up and hug the toy close when its moving. The movement strength of the gears seems to be very low anyways so there is probably very little to worry about.

So, all in all we can say that Elmo Live is a pretty safe toy for a toddler. Armed with this knowledge, you can be certain that you are indeed making the right decision in your purchase, and can rest easy at night knowing you've looked out for your child's safety.

Have a safe, happy holiday season by becoming informed on the things you're about to buy! I offer research and advise you on all the features and characteristics of the latest top Christmas gifts For even more useful information and specs on Elmo, visit me at Fisher Price Elmo Live

Fun Halloween Games

Make a Spider Web

All you need for this fun game is a ball of black, white, or silver yarn or string and a few kids. Have everyone stand around in a circle. Ask one child to hold one end of the string and then toss the ball to another kid. Each child holds on the string and then tosses it to someone else. Before you know it you'll have a great spider web.

Mummy Contest

Grab a few rolls of toilet paper and match the kids up in pairs. Of course you could also have them choose partners. Ask each pair to decide which one of them will be the mummy and who will do the wrapping. Then - you guessed it - have one of the children wrap the toilet paper around the other, creating a mummy.

You can either make it a contest of speed or one of creativity. For the first, the team that has a completely wrapped mummy first wins. For the second contest, the kids take as long as they need to and you get to play judge and pick the best looking mummy.

Eyeball Race

Start with a plain ping-pong ball for each child. Use a Sharpie marker and draw on it to turn it into an eyeball. You can simple draw the pupil, or for a scarier version, add some red wiggly lines to make the eyeball look bloodshot.

Give each child a spoon and drop one of the eyeballs in each spoon. Now it's time to race. The child that reaches the finish line with the eyeball in the spoon first wins.

There you have it - three fun games you can play with your kids to pass the day until it is time to go trick-or-treating. These games are also a lot of fun at a Halloween party. Get your kids playing them and watch all the spooky fun.

Would you like to quickly make creative Halloween costumes that you and your children will be proud of -- for a fraction of the price of store-bought? Susanne Myers has co-authored a book to show you how -- no sewing involved. Visit http://www.ILoveHalloweenCostumes.com to learn more.

Short Run Printing in Time For Halloween

Businesses are all gearing up for the Halloween. If you haven't come up with a unique idea that can topple off your previous Halloween gimmicks, you need not fret. With the advent of short run printing, you are assured that you can have your materials done in time before somebody knocks your door to say trick or treat.

Halloween is so special for kids and adults alike. This is very evident on the commercially available products that can serve as displays, costumes and giveaways at home, parties and other events to celebrate the occasion. Business owners must take advantage of the occasion's popularity. They must use its popular elements on their advertising mediums.

But just like in all your marketing tools, whether they are done through offset or short run printing, you must remember the following in order to ensure effectiveness with your ads.

1. Create a timeline or a schedule on when you will do your next advertisement. After the first run, you must never stop your marketing tricks or else people might think that you have run out of biz. Make sure that you highlight those dates when there will be important occasions such as Halloween. Take advantage of the date to pursue with your advertising ventures.

2. Make sure that during the first few years of running your ads, you must keep the important elements in uniform. These include the logo, the typeface of your business name and the vital colors that make up your ads. People must be used at seeing such elements and learn to associate them with you. You can change them gradually by improving and creating better stuff. And as you do so, you are tagging people along with you. You don't want them to feel alienated.

You may create variation at certain times. At this instance, for example, you must retain the elements but you can add some Halloween feel into them. You can include the popular graphics such as ghosts, jack-o-lantern and any other kinds of design that can be associated with the occasion.

3. Create instant connection with your audience by using catchy and effective headlines. In time for the Halloween, make it scary enough for people to run directly to your store. But you have to be extra creative. Because on events like this, almost every business comes up with their own scary ad to take advantage of the occasion. So it will be really challenging to stand out from the pack.

4. Your complete contact details must always be included. No matter how colorful or scary your ad may be, you must still take note that such details are placed on the vital parts of your marketing tools.

5. At the end of it all, you must tell your audience your ulterior motive, your call to action. What will they miss if they don't buy now? How many days are left before the promo ends? Make it urgent. And make it significant.

It is never too late to have your marketing tools processed. You will surely get those in time for the Halloween through the help of short run printing.

Free Halloween Games For Young Spooks to Enjoy

Halloween is a great time to put a new twist on favorite games that are reliably fun but affordable to. These Halloween party games can be done for minimal cost and effort, or free with things that are commonly found right in your home. For example, instead of playing musical chairs, play Black Cat Boogie. Take a tape player or CD player with some fun boogie music for the kids to walk/dance around to. Tape spots down on the floor (maybe in the shape of pumpkins, ghosts, or witches hats) and then one spot that’s a black cat. There should be one less spot than there are children at the parties. Select a “leader” to start the game. The leader is responsible for playing the music and deciding when it will stop. Kids will move around the circle stepping from spot to spot during the time the music plays. When the music stops, the child standing on the cat becomes “out” and is the next leader. Continue playing until most children have a chance to be the leader.

Scavenger hunts are also a lot of fun for Halloween party ghouls - young or old, this one is called Skeletons and Pumpkins. Before the guests arrive, create 15-20 bones and 15-20 pumpkins out of construction paper (or on the computer) and hide the paper bones and pumpkins throughout the party area, Divide the guests into two teams and assign them a search target. See which team can find the most pumpkins or bones within the allotted time. That team wins. If this seems to easy for the age of your party guests, make it harder by turning out the lights and give each team one flashlight. Then, have the guests search for their items using only the light of that flashlight. Feel free to make the search items out of other materials besides paper if you have the time and budget. Clay bones, real miniature pumpkins, etc. will make it more difficult to find in a short amount of time as they become part of the party decorations.

Have fun at your Halloween Party!

Halloween Fancy Dress is Not Just For Winter

Halloween costumes are traditionally those of monsters such as vampires, ghosts, skeletons, witches, and devils. Costumes are also based on themes other than traditional horror, such as those of characters from television shows, movies and other pop culture icons.

There are several games traditionally associated with Halloween parties. The most common is dooking or bobbing for apples, in which apples float in a tub or a large basin of water; the participants must use their teeth to remove an apple from the basin. A variant of dooking involves kneeling on a chair, holding a fork between the teeth and trying to drop the fork into an apple. Another common game involves hanging up treacle or syrup-coated scones by strings; these must be eaten without using hands while they remain attached to the string, an activity which inevitably leads to a very sticky face.

Costume Parties are especially popular in the United States around Halloween, when teenagers and adults who may be considered too old for trick-or-treating attend a costume party instead. Halloween costume parties are occasionally featured in popular movies, such as Mean Girls.

Nowadays deciding what fancy dress costume or outfit to wear can be a challenge as there are so many options available to buyers ranging from TV, Films, Emergency outfits like Doctors, fireman and policeman to old favorites like cowboys and pirates but hat is surprising is how more and more people are looking to purchase historical fancy dress costumes.

This is likely to caused by the fact that party goers are looking for something different to wear to make them stand out form the crowd or another possible reason is that with more and more period dramas on TV and Film that people can relate to these times more and want to dress accordingly.

Looking at some of the best ideas for your Halloween costume, still the most popular is the sexy pirate costume. The popularity of this theme is double edged; firstly you may encounter many pirates over the holiday season however the upside is that all of the manufacturers have been busy developing sexy characters and costumes to meet the unquenchable demand for good quality and sexier costumes.

Who do you want to be? And why? Choose the right Fancy Dress costume. It might seem a great idea to dress entirely for laughs but unless that's how you want to be remembered - well think carefully.

Remember this is a great chance to live out the character of whoever you are dressed as. There are many options like the amazing Little Britain range from the BBC hit TV show or the Cowboy or Girl range or Robin Hood the choice is endless and the only limitation is your imagination!

Whatever you decide for Halloween at least children and adults have plenty of fancy dress costumes and party accessories to select from.

How To Host A Great Halloween Party For Adults

Halloween parties for adults can include a wide variety of events. It may take some time to put together a theme that can keep the entire guest list entertained, but it really can be worth the effort. Costume parties are a huge hit with adults; you can have the guests wear masks during the night to keep the party even more interesting.

Below is a list of things that a Halloween party should include to be considered a successful one.

Music – You can not have a Halloween party without party music. It needs to be upbeat and energetic with a wide variety of artist to choose from. This defiantly includes a lot of Halloween songs, both creepy and funny. No one wants to be at a slow boring party.

Adult games – This doesn’t have to be anything dramatic, just something to help keep everyone involved. Parties held in places that have a pool table are most enjoyable, as this game always keeps an interesting conversation going on. Throwing darts is very entertaining for many adults. Karaoke, strength games and skill contest are also very popular.

Best overall costume – You can’t have a Halloween party without having a costume judging. Although to keep everybody happy the party should probably have two contests with separate categories. One contest would be for the goriest costume around to appeal to the guests that love to show off their favorite scary costume. The other contest would be for the guests that prefer to stay away from the gruesome and bloody costumes. Both contests should be judged on their originality and design.

Refreshments – A great Halloween party for adults includes a large assortment of refreshments. This would include both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Having bartenders to provide this service is important to help keep things simple and keep the guest happy.

Decorations – Going to a party with well crafted decorations is lots of fun. These help to keep you in the Halloween sprit throughout the entire party.

Accommodations – Some of the most successful adult Halloween parties ever held took place where the accommodations allowed you to have at least two separate main areas. One where your guest can party and make all the noise they feel like. The other main area would be where anyone can share a drink and hold a conversation if so desired.

More Halloween Games

What better way to keep the Halloween party spirit alive can there be than to indulge yourselves in some good old fashioned family fun games. These simple to organise Halloween party games will delight the kids and keep them amused for hours. Maybe you have a big family party planned and are wondering how to amuse the kiddies; or maybe you have been put in charge of the Halloween entertainments program! Try these simple to create Halloween games to keep everyone amused.

Pin the Nose on the Witch
Find a large picture of a Witch, or use your one of the large jointed Witch cut outs that will be available in your local outlet. Cut out, from thin card a Witch's nose and colour in including warts and hairy moles which will be handed to each of the players in turn once the position is marked. Alternatively cut one nose for each player. This is an adaptation of the kiddies' favourite of Pin the Tail on the Donkey, and a prize is given in this version to the person who places their nose nearest to that on the background. This game can be further adapted to pin the bolts on the monster or pin the fangs on the vampire and so on.

Find the Missing Halloween Treats
A great memory game for children of all ages. Using your computer and printer, or a simple Halloween themed colouring book, generate a page of random selection of Halloween treats or items normally associated with Halloween. Duplicate this page a remove a selection of the items. The complexity of the design and the number of items on the sheet as well as the number removed can be altered depending on the age of the players. The game is played by giving each child (or adult!) a copy of the complete sheet, allowing them to study it for a time, again dependant on the age of the player. At the end of this period, the sheet is swopped for the second page and each player has to draw/write or shout-out [your choice] what item is missing. Nice trick is to actually theme this so that each missing item can be given as the prize.

Halloween Word Mix-Up
All of the Halloween words have become mixed up and need to be unscrambled. Create a simple list of well-know Halloween words and jumble the letters up. These should form a column on the left hand side of the page and space should be created on the right for the correct spelling to be written in. The complexity of the words can be adjusted based upon the age of the players. Prize can be awarded for either the first to complete them all correctly, or for everyone who completes the challenge.

With just a little planning and imagination you can remove some of the stress of the Halloween party by preparing these games in advance. Halloween is a magical time to spend some quality time with friends and family especially the children and therefore any preparation you can complete before hand will make the party day less of a hassle. No sales pitch to follow, whatever you do to celebrate Halloween have a great time and be safe.

Here are Some Great Adult Halloween Games for your Party by cheryl

Who is it that says Halloween is just for kids? Halloween is, of course, a time for trick-or-treating, and mom and dad surely can't go out begging in the streets for candy, but the holiday can also be a swell time for some full-grown fun.

If you are planning a Halloween party for grown-ups, you will want to have some adult Halloween games on hand. It is all part of the fun.

Some capital adult Halloween games include:

About the Town - This is a scavenger hunt. All you require to do is make a list of Halloween-related items, give out the list to each team, and post them on their way to collect the items. Some great targets to put on the list include:

A Hangman's noose

A black veil

An obit

You probably get the idea. Just include items that have to do with being scared, spooks, Halloween, or whatever.

You might try a variation on the hunt, too. One great one is to make the hunt a video scavenger hunt. Each squad leads off with video camera in hand (or cell phone with a camera or whatever) and shoots the items instead of actually bringing the items back with them. This is really cool because you can make the list of items include very big stuff and potentially scary things like headstones. For a further variant, you can have the list be exclusively things like: Superman, a clown, a pirate, a fairy princess, a werewolf, a vampire, and so on. That would mean the adult Halloween games would admit the children via taking video of trick-or-treaters who are all dressed up.

Halloween Fortune Telling - In this game, your guests put their knowledge of one another to the test and get to know each other better.

Merely hand out slips of paper and a pencil to each guest. Each person then selects a person at the party (maybe even himself or herself), but doesn't tell anyone who it is. Then, everyone write a "fortune" for that person, folds it, and puts it into the fishbowl. You can let everyone write one or many; that's up to you.

And Then, each guest pulls out a slip of paper and reads the fortune. He then tries to guess which person composed the fortune and which person the fortune is about.

Some examples of fortunes might be:

"This person will get arrested doing something illegal and spend the nighttime in jail."

"This person will wed someone from a foreign country."

"This person will cease his job and purchase a Corvette when he turns fifty."

"This person will adopt a youngster."

"This person will become Chairperson of the PTA."

You get the idea. Each person who correctly guesses wins a humble prize, and this game is a delightful way to get conversations initiated at your Halloween bash.

A really cool variation of this game is to let each guest put their name on a piece of paper and cast into the bowl. And Then have each guest draw a name from the bowl and get the one who drew the name make up a scary story about the name drawn. Then have the other guest conjecture who the scary story is about.

As you can discover adult games can be a lot of fun and the types of games can be endless. It just takes a minuscule planning to come up with adult Halloween games.

Planning a Party? Here Are Some Great Adult Halloween Games

5 Great Ideas For Children's Halloween Party Games

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel when you plan on having a Halloween Party with kids. There are many popular games that can be modified to fit into any Halloween event. Some include:

Musical Chairs – Decorate the chairs with spider webs and mini plastic spiders and play Halloween sound effects. Leave one or two chairs without the webbing and see just how many kids scramble for them instead of the web covered ones!

Pin the Nose on the Jack-O-Lantern – All you need for this game is a huge piece of orange poster board, a black Sharpie marker, a laminated nose shape and tape of some sort. Create a whole Jack-O-Lantern face minus the nose on the poster board, cut out, and hang on a wall. Place some tape on the back of the nose and let the kids try to stick it in the right place. You can modify this game to be Pin the Wart on the Witch, Pin the Mouth on the Ghost…whatever you would like.

Bobbing for Jack-O-Lanterns – On oranges, draw Jack-O-Lantern faces with a Sharpie marker. Place in a huge tub or wading pool of water and have the kids bob away!

Witch, Witch, Ghost! – Instead of the old standby “Duck, Duck, Goose”, just add some Halloween characters and let the kids play. Any combination of ghost, witch, goblin, spider, black cat or other popular Halloween character can be used. If you don’t want to use scary characters, you can make it Pumpkin, Pumpkin, Jack-O-Lantern!

Guess How Many Candy Corns – In a container you purchase from a dollar store, place candy corns until it just barely will close. Have the party guests guess how many candy corns are inside. The person to guess closest wins the jar and all the candy corns inside! With bigger jars, you can put mini candy bars or lollipops instead of candy corns.

You can also use the costumes the kids are wearing at the party to create fun and exciting games. If someone comes to your party dressed like a princess, have them lead the game “Princess Says”. Or if you have an Elmo, you can play “Elmo May I?”

When you plan a get-together with little kids, be aware that no game will hold their attention for more than 15 minutes or so. Prepare 3 or 4 different games, so you can switch off easily when the guests lose interest.
